  • 1.5 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts Cut into bite-sized pieces.
  • 2 tsp olive oil
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika Swap for regular paprika if preferred.
  • 1/2 tsp salt Adjust to taste.
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese Optional.

Preparation

  • Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 5 minutes.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together olive oil, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  • Add the chicken pieces to the bowl and toss until evenly coated with the spice-oil mix.

Cooking

  • Place the seasoned chicken in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Avoid overcrowding — cook in batches if necessary.
  • Air-fry at 400°F for 10–12 minutes, shaking the basket or flipping pieces halfway through.
  • Check doneness: chicken is safe at an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
  • If using Parmesan, sprinkle it over the hot bites immediately after cooking.

Serving

  • Serve right away with your favorite dipping sauces or sides.

Notes

For best results, cut chicken into similar-sized pieces, avoid overcrowding, and use an instant-read thermometer for doneness. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 4 days.
