Ingredients
  

Cauliflower Base

  • 1 medium head medium head of cauliflower, cut into bite-sized florets

Batter Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour Can use gluten-free blend as a substitute
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

Buffalo Sauce Mixture

  • 3/4 cup buffalo sauce Store-bought or homemade
  • 1 tbsp unsalted butter, melted

Cooking Spray

  • 1 spray cooking spray For air fryer

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for about 3 minutes.
  • Cut the cauliflower into uniform bite-sized florets for even cooking.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, water, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper until smooth.
  • Toss the cauliflower florets in the batter until they’re well coated, shaking off any excess.

Cooking

  • Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray.
  • Place the cauliflower florets in a single layer in the basket, avoiding overcrowding.
  • Air fry for 12-15 minutes, shaking halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.

Finishing Touch

  • In a small bowl, mix together the buffalo sauce and melted butter.
  • Once the cauliflower is crispy, transfer it to a large bowl and toss with the buffalo sauce until evenly coated.
  • Serve immediately, ideally with ranch or blue cheese dressing, and optional celery sticks for crunch!

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat in the air fryer to regain crunch. For a low-carb option, skip the batter and toss the florets directly in buffalo sauce.
