Ingredients
  

For the pizza rolls

  • 1 package pizza dough Fresh or store-bought
  • 2 cups mozzarella cheese Dairy-free cheese for vegan option available
  • 1 cup pepperoni slices Or your choice of meat/veggie alternative
  • 1/2 cup pizza sauce For dipping
  • as needed spray olive oil Or your preferred oil
  • to taste Italian seasoning Optional

Preparation

  • Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  • Roll out the pizza dough on a lightly floured surface. Cut the dough into squares, roughly 2 inches in size.
  • In each square, place a slice of pepperoni and a spoonful of mozzarella cheese.
  • Fold the dough over the filling, pinching the edges securely to seal.
  • Lightly spray the air fryer basket with olive oil to prevent sticking.
  • Lay the filled pizza rolls in a single layer in the basket.
  • Spray the tops with olive oil and sprinkle with Italian seasoning if you’re in the mood for added flavor.

Cooking

  • Air fry for about 8-10 minutes or until they are golden brown and crispy.
  • Serve them warm alongside a small bowl of pizza sauce for a delightful dipping experience.
