Ingredients
  

Dough Ingredients

  • 4 cups All-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup Sugar
  • 2 teaspoons Yeast Active dry yeast preferred
  • 1 cup Milk Warm milk
  • 2 large Eggs Room temperature
  • 1/2 cup Butter Melted

Cheesecake Filling Ingredients

  • 8 oz Cream cheese Room temperature
  • 1/4 cup Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 2 cups Diced apples Granny Smith or Honeycrisp

Crumble Topping Ingredients

  • 1 cup Oats
  • 1/2 cup Brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup Butter Cold, cubed
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon

Sweet Glaze Ingredients

  • 1 cup Powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons Milk
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract

Instructions
 

Prepare the Dough

  • In a bowl, combine warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for about 5 minutes until frothy.
  • Add melted butter, eggs, and flour. Knead until smooth, then let it rise for 1 hour in a warm place.

Make the Filling

  • In a mixing bowl, beat together cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
  • Fold in the diced apples gently.

Roll and Assemble

  • Roll out the dough on a floured surface into a rectangle. Spread the cheesecake filling evenly over the dough.
  • Roll it up tightly and slice into individual buns.

Prepare the Crumble

  • In a separate bowl, mix oats, brown sugar, butter, and cinnamon until crumbly.
  • Sprinkle generously over the sliced buns.

Bake

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Place buns on a lined baking sheet and let them rise for another 20 minutes before baking for 20-25 minutes until golden.

Make the Glaze

  • Combine powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla until smooth. Drizzle over warm buns before serving.

Notes

Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Can freeze before glazing. Reheat in the oven at 350°F for 10-15 minutes.
