  • 1 pound Brussels sprouts Trimmed and halved
  • 4 slices Bacon Chopped
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Salt To taste
  • 1 teaspoon Pepper To taste
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese Optional, to sprinkle before serving

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Trim the ends of the Brussels sprouts and slice them in half.

Cooking

  • In a bowl, toss together the Brussels sprouts with olive oil, salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  • Arrange the sprouts on a baking sheet, cut side down.
  • Chop the bacon and evenly sprinkle it over the Brussels sprouts.
  • Roast in the oven for 25-30 minutes, until they are crispy and golden brown.
  • If desired, sprinkle with parmesan cheese right before serving.

Notes

For best results, space out the Brussels sprouts on the baking sheet and stir them halfway through cooking for even roasting. Add crushed red pepper flakes for a spicy kick!
