Pastry & Filling

  • 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed Ensure the puff pastry is completely thawed before starting.
  • 4 oz brie cheese, cut into 12 cubes
  • ½ cup cranberry sauce (store-bought or homemade) Feel free to substitute with other fruit preserves.
  • 2 tbsp candied pecans, chopped (optional) Adds a nice crunch.
  • 1 sprig fresh rosemary for garnish (optional) For a fresh touch.

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a mini muffin tin.
  • Roll out the thawed puff pastry on a lightly floured surface and cut it into 12 equal squares.
  • Press each square gently into the muffin cups, creating little pastry cups.
  • Place a cube of brie into each pastry cup.
  • Top each brie piece with a spoonful of cranberry sauce. Sprinkle chopped candied pecans on top if desired.

Baking

  • Bake in the preheated oven for 15–18 minutes, until the tops are golden brown and bubbly.
  • Allow the bites to cool for about 5 minutes and garnish with tiny sprigs of fresh rosemary before serving.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 10 minutes until warmed through. You can also freeze them before baking, just thaw overnight before use.
