  • 1 lb salmon fillets, cut into bite-sized pieces Use fresh salmon for the best results.
  • 1/2 cup cornstarch
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Vegetable oil for frying For spraying the air fryer basket.

Bang Bang Sauce

  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons sweet chili sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Sriracha Adjust spiciness as desired.
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce Use gluten-free soy sauce for a gluten-free option.
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon ginger powder

Garnish

  • Green onions, chopped For garnishing the dish.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  • In a bowl, toss the salmon pieces with cornstarch, salt, and pepper until they are well coated.

Cooking

  • Spray the air fryer basket with oil and arrange the salmon bites in a single layer.
  • Cook them for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until they are golden and crispy.

Making the Sauce

  • While the salmon is cooking, combine mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, Sriracha, soy sauce, garlic powder, and ginger powder in a separate bowl to make the Bang Bang sauce.

Serving

  • When the salmon is done, drizzle the sauce over the bites and toss to coat.
  • Garnish with chopped green onions and serve immediately.

Notes

Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. Reheat in an air fryer or hot skillet for best results.
