  • 2 lbs Baby back ribs Look for meaty ribs for the best flavor.
  • 1 tbsp Pork rub Generously applied for enhanced flavor.
  • 1 cup Kansas City Gates' BBQ sauce Feel free to swap for your preferred BBQ sauce.
  • 1 cup Water For cooking in the Instant Pot.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Generously apply the pork rub over the baby back ribs, ensuring every inch is coated.
  • Place the seasoned ribs in the Instant Pot and add water.

Cooking

  • Seal the Instant Pot and set it to cook on high pressure for 25 minutes.
  • After the cooking time is complete, allow a natural pressure release for 10 minutes, then perform a quick release for any remaining steam.

Finishing

  • Preheat your grill or oven broiler to a high setting.
  • Brush the cooked ribs with BBQ sauce and grill or broil for 5-10 minutes until the sauce is caramelized and bubbly.

Serving

  • Serve with additional BBQ sauce on the side for those who love a little extra!

Notes

These ribs pair excellently with sides such as coleslaw, cornbread, and baked beans. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to 3 days in the fridge or frozen for up to 3 months.
