  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened Make sure it's at room temperature for easier blending.
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 4 pieces eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon For extra flavor, consider adding nutmeg.
  • Butter for greasing Use to grease the baking dish.

Preparation and Baking

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease your baking dish with butter.
  • In a mixing bowl, blend cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
  • Layer the croissant pieces in your greased baking dish, then sprinkle the mixed berries on top.
  • Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the croissants and berries.
  • In another bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and cinnamon, then pour the mixture generously over the croissant layers.
  • For the best flavor, cover and let this sit in the refrigerator overnight.
  • Bake for 30-35 minutes until the top is golden and the center is set.
  • Allow to cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Best served with powdered sugar, maple syrup, or paired with a refreshing fruit salad. Store leftovers covered in the refrigerator for up to three days or freeze well-wrapped.
