Main Ingredients

  • 1 pound breakfast sausage your favorite brand will do
  • 6 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • to taste salt
  • to taste pepper

Crust

  • 1 can Pillsbury® Grands!® Biscuits

Garnish

  • to taste chopped green onions optional for garnish

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a skillet, cook the sausage over medium heat until it’s browned and cooked through. Don’t forget to drain any excess fat!
  • In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and pepper until well-combined.
  • Take a 9-inch pie pan and arrange the biscuits to form a crust, slightly overlapping them as needed.
  • Evenly sprinkle the cooked sausage over the biscuit crust.
  • Pour the egg mixture over the sausage, followed by an even layer of shredded cheese.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the egg is set and the biscuits turn golden brown.
  • Allow the quiche to cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving. Garnish with chopped green onions if desired.

Notes

This quiche pairs wonderfully with a light green salad or fresh fruit, and can be enjoyed with a citrus mimosa or coffee. Store leftovers in an airtight container for 3-4 days or freeze for up to 2 months.
