Ingredients
  

Seafood

  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 lb salmon fillet Can substitute with tilapia or scallops

Seasoning & Sauce Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning Adjust for extra spiciness
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream Can replace with coconut milk for a dairy-free option
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley for garnish

Preparation

  • In a bowl, season shrimp and salmon with Cajun seasoning.
  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

Cooking Seafood

  • Add the shrimp and cook for 3-4 minutes until they turn pink. Remove them and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, add the salmon fillet and cook for about 4-5 minutes per side, or until cooked through. Remove and set aside.

Making the Sauce

  • Now, add the minced garlic to the skillet and sauté until fragrant.
  • Pour in the heavy cream and chicken broth. Stir well.
  • Let the sauce simmer for a few minutes until it thickens.
  • Add in lemon juice, salt, and pepper to taste.

Combining

  • Return the cooked shrimp and salmon to the skillet, coating them with the delicious sauce.
  • Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

Serve over rice or polenta to soak up the sauce. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to three days. Reheat gently in a skillet over low heat.
