Meatloaf Ingredients

  • 1.5 pounds ground beef
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese Can substitute with other cheese varieties.
  • 0.5 cup breadcrumbs Crushed crackers can also work.
  • 0.25 cup diced onion
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 0.25 cup ketchup For a richer flavor, you can brush extra on top before baking.
  • 2 tablespoons mustard
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon burger seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 large egg Helps bind the meatloaf.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, shredded cheddar, breadcrumbs, diced onion, minced garlic, ketchup, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, burger seasoning, salt, pepper, and the egg.
  • Mix thoroughly until well incorporated.
  • Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it on a baking sheet or in a loaf pan.

Cooking

  • Bake for 1 hour or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).
  • Allow it to rest for a few minutes before slicing and serving. Enjoy alongside your favorite sides!

Notes

Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to four days, or freeze after slicing for up to three months. Reheat slices in the microwave or oven.
