  • 8 oz rotini pasta
  • 1 cup cooked chicken, diced
  • 1 cup cooked bacon, crumbled
  • 1/2 cup ranch dressing
  • 1/2 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup green onions, chopped

Preparation

  • Cook the rotini pasta according to the package instructions. Once done, drain and cool it under running water.
  • In a large bowl, combine the cooked pasta, diced chicken, crumbled bacon, ranch dressing, halved cherry tomatoes, shredded cheddar cheese, and chopped green onions.
  • Mix well to ensure all the ingredients are evenly distributed.
  • Season with salt and pepper to suit your taste.
  • Cover the salad and chill it in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow the flavors to meld.

Notes

For leftovers, store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days. Can be frozen, but leave off the dressing until ready to serve. Use whole grain pasta or light ranch dressing for healthier options.
