  • 1 cup 226g unsalted butter, melted
  • ¾ cup 150g brown sugar, packed
  • ½ cup 100g granulated sugar
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 cups 340g semisweet chocolate chips

  • In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
  • In a separate large bowl, mix melted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth.
  • Add eggs and vanilla extract, then whisk until fully combined.
  • Gradually mix in the dry ingredients, stirring until just combined. Avoid overmixing.
  • Fold in chocolate chips evenly throughout the dough.
  • Scoop dough onto the baking sheet, spacing 2 inches apart.
  • Bake for 8-10 minutes, until edges are golden but centers look slightly underbaked.
  • Let cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
