  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons orange juice Can substitute with lime juice.
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper

For the Chicken

  • 4 pieces chicken breasts

Instructions

Preparation

  • In a medium-sized bowl, whisk together Dijon mustard, olive oil, lemon juice, orange juice, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper to fully combine your marinade.
  • Place the chicken breasts in a resealable bag or a shallow dish and pour the marinade over the chicken, ensuring it’s well-coated.
  • Seal the bag or cover the dish and allow the chicken to marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, letting the flavors soak in (overnight for best results).

Cooking

  • Preheat your grill to medium heat.
  • Remove the chicken from the marinade and grill each side for about 6-7 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
  • Let the chicken rest for a few minutes before serving to seal in those delicious juices.

Notes

Store any unused chicken in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3-4 days. You can freeze the grilled chicken for up to 3 months. For the best results, let your chicken marinate longer if time allows.
