Preparation

  • In a mixing bowl, blend the cream cheese, sour cream, and garlic powder until it’s smooth and creamy.
  • Gently fold in the corn, shredded cheddar cheese, jalapeños (if using), and green onions.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Transfer the mixture to a serving dish.
  • Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
  • Serve with tortilla chips or fresh vegetables for dipping.

Notes

For the best flavor, chill the dip for a few hours or overnight. This dip can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3 to 5 days and can be frozen for longer storage (though texture may change).
