  • 1/2 cup bell pepper, diced
  • 1 tablespoon garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili powder

Preparation

  • In a skillet, cook the ground beef or sausage over medium heat until browned. Drain any excess fat.
  • Add the diced onion, bell pepper, and minced garlic to the skillet, cooking until the vegetables are softened.
  • In a separate saucepan, melt the Velveeta cheese over low heat, stirring continuously. Once melted, blend in the pepper jack cheese until fully combined.

Combining Ingredients

  • Carefully add the cooked meat mixture along with the diced tomatoes, cumin, chili powder, salt, and pepper to the cheese mixture. Stir until well blended and heated through.
