Ingredients

Burgers

  • 1 lb ground beef (80/20 blend) Works best for flavor and moisture
  • 4 slices beef bacon Cooked and crumbled
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 tbsp ranch seasoning mix
  • 2 green onions Finely sliced
  • 4 pieces burger buns Toasted
  • Lettuce, tomato slices, and pickles Optional, for topping
  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise or ranch dressing For serving

Instructions

Preparation

  • In a skillet, cook the beef bacon until crispy. Remove, let cool, then crumble into small pieces.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, ranch seasoning, cheddar cheese, green onions, and crumbled beef bacon. Gently mix with clean hands until just combined.
  • Divide mixture into 4 equal portions and form into patties, pressing gently so they hold together.

Cooking

  • Heat the skillet over medium-high heat. Cook patties for 4–5 minutes per side, or until the center reaches 160°F.
  • While burgers cook, lightly toast the burger buns in the same skillet or in a toaster oven for extra flavor.

Assembly

  • Spread mayonnaise or ranch dressing on buns, layer with lettuce, tomato, and pickles if desired, then place the cheesy burger patty inside. Top with the bun and serve hot.

Notes

Store cooked patties in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat in skillet or oven for best texture. You can swap beef for ground chicken or turkey for a lighter option.
