Main Ingredients

  • 1 can crescent roll dough (8-count)
  • 4 oz cream cheese (softened) Use softened for best results.
  • ¼ cup powdered sugar
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ cup whole berry cranberry sauce

Optional Toppings

  • to taste chopped pecans Can substitute with walnuts or omit.
  • to taste orange zest Adds brightness to the flavor.

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F and either grease or line a mini muffin tin with paper liners.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth and creamy.
  • Unroll your crescent dough and cut each triangle in half for bite-sized portions.
  • Gently press each dough triangle into the muffin cups, allowing some dough to hang over the edge.

Filling

  • Spoon 1 teaspoon of the cream cheese filling into each cup, followed by another teaspoon of cranberry sauce on top.
  • Sprinkle optional toppings over the filling if desired.

Baking

  • Bake in the preheated oven for 11–13 minutes, or until pastries are golden and puffed.
  • Allow to cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Serve warm or at room temperature. Can be paired with whipped cream or a refreshing winter salad. Store in an airtight container for up to three days or freeze for up to a month. Reheat at 350°F for 5-10 minutes.
