Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Preparation

  • Pat chicken breasts dry and season with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.

Searing Chicken

  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Cook chicken 5–6 minutes per side until golden brown and fully cooked (165°F internal temp). Transfer to a plate.

Making the Sauce

  • In the same skillet, add garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
  • Lower heat to medium, stir in cream cheese until melted, then add chicken broth and heavy cream. Whisk until smooth and creamy.
  • Stir in Parmesan and let simmer 2–3 minutes until slightly thickened.

Finishing Touch

  • Return chicken to the skillet, spoon sauce over, and cook 2 more minutes.
  • Garnish with parsley and serve warm with pasta, rice, or mashed potatoes.

Notes

Keep leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat gently on the stove with a splash of broth or milk. For a lighter version, use reduced-fat cream cheese and half-and-half instead of heavy cream. Add sautéed mushrooms or spinach for a veggie boost. Serve with garlic bread or roasted veggies for a complete meal.
