  • 12 oz Pasta (fettuccine or spaghetti) Use any pasta shape you prefer.

Sauce Ingredients

  • 1 cup Heavy cream Can substitute with low-fat or non-dairy alternatives.
  • 1/4 cup Fresh lemon juice Always use fresh lemons for the best flavor.
  • 1 tbsp Lemon zest
  • 1/2 cup Grated parmesan cheese Add more for garnish.
  • 2 cloves Minced garlic
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • to taste Salt and black pepper Adjust according to preference.
  • 1/4 cup Fresh parsley For garnish.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  • In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.

Sauce Preparation

  • Lower the heat and pour in heavy cream, followed by lemon juice and lemon zest. Stir to combine.
  • Introduce grated parmesan cheese into the sauce, mixing until melted and smooth.
  • Season with salt and black pepper to taste.

Combine and Serve

  • Add the cooked pasta into the skillet, tossing to coat it evenly with the creamy sauce.
  • Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.

Notes

For variations, use whole wheat pasta for a healthier option, or add shrimp or chicken for added protein. Allow leftovers to cool before storing in an airtight container for up to three days. Freeze for up to a month if needed.
