  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream Can substitute with half-and-half or coconut cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese Freshly grated for best results
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley for garnish

Preparation

  • Begin by boiling water in a large pot. Add the angel hair pasta and cook according to the package instructions. Once al dente, drain it and set aside.
  • In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about a minute until it’s fragrant but not browned.
  • Pour in the heavy cream and gently bring it to a simmer. Cook for 2-3 minutes, allowing it to thicken slightly.
  • Gradually stir in the grated Parmesan until it melts into the cream. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Toss the cooked pasta into the skillet, coating it evenly in the rich sauce.
  • Mound the pasta onto plates and finish with a sprinkle of chopped parsley for a fresh touch. Enjoy it hot!

Notes

For a well-rounded meal, pair with a green salad dressed in lemon vinaigrette. Refrigerate leftovers in an airtight container for 3-4 days. Reheat with a splash of cream or milk.
