Instructions

Preparation

  • Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook pasta until al dente, according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
  • Season steak pieces with salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder.

Cooking

  • In a large skillet over medium-high heat, heat the olive oil. Sear steak in batches for 2–3 minutes per side until browned. Remove and set aside.
  • Reduce heat to medium and add butter. Cook the chopped onion until it’s soft, about 3–4 minutes. Stir in the minced garlic and cook for an additional 30 seconds.
  • Pour in the heavy cream, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the skillet. Add Italian seasoning, red pepper flakes, and Parmesan cheese. Simmer for 4–5 minutes until the sauce is slightly thickened.
  • Return the steak to the skillet along with the cooked pasta. Toss everything together until well coated and heated through.
  • Taste and adjust seasoning as needed, then garnish with fresh herbs before serving.

Notes

Great served with a crisp green salad or some garlic bread. For meal prep, store pasta and sauce separately until ready to eat. Leftovers can be reheated gently on the stovetop.
