Cooking Pasta

  • Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Once done, drain and set aside.

Preparing the Sauce

  • In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  • Toss in the chopped tomatoes and cook until they soften, which should take about 5-7 minutes.
  • Stir in the heavy cream and bring the mixture to a simmer, allowing it to cook for another 2-3 minutes.
  • Add the cooked pasta and chopped fresh basil to the skillet. Gently toss everything together to coat the pasta evenly.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste, serve hot, and finish with a generous sprinkle of grated Parmesan cheese.
