  • 2 cups Frozen Hashbrowns
  • 1 cup Shredded Cheese (cheddar recommended)
  • 1/2 cup Bacon Bits
  • 1/4 cup Green Onions, chopped

Seasonings

  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Onion Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Pepper

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • In a large bowl, mix the frozen hashbrowns, shredded cheese, bacon bits, chopped green onions, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until everything is well combined.
  • Take small portions of the mixture and form them into balls or tots, placing each one on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Cooking

  • Bake for 20-25 minutes, flipping them halfway through, until they’re golden brown and crispy.
  • Once they’re done, remove them from the oven and allow them to cool slightly before savoring.

Notes

These bites can be made in advance and frozen. Reheat at 375°F (190°C) for about 10 minutes to regain crunch. Dry the hashbrowns before mixing for maximum crispiness.
