  • 4 pieces salmon fillets Make sure they’re patted dry before cooking.
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs Panko breadcrumbs can be used for a lighter texture.
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • for serving Lemon wedges To add flavor before eating.

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, dried parsley, salt, and pepper.
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and place the salmon fillets on it.
  • Drizzle olive oil over the top of the salmon fillets.
  • Generously press the Parmesan breadcrumb mixture onto each fillet to create a thick layer.
  • Bake in your preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and the topping turns golden brown.
  • Serve hot with lemon wedges on the side.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. For freezing, wrap tightly and consume within a month. For an extra crispy topping, broil for the last 1-2 minutes of cooking.
