Ingredients
  

For the truffles

  • 16 ounces Chocolate wafer cookies Finely crushed
  • 8 ounces Cream cheese Softened
  • 12 ounces White chocolate For coating

For decorating

  • 1 cup Mini chocolate chips For eyes
  • 1 cup Orange sprinkles or candy For noses
  • Optional Fruit leather or ribbon For scarves

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Crush the chocolate wafer cookies until they are almost like a powder.
  • In a bowl, combine the crushed cookies and softened cream cheese, mixing until fully combined and it forms a dough.
  • Take small portions of the mixture and roll them into balls, shaping a larger ball for the body and a slightly smaller ball for the head.
  • Place the shaped truffles on a baking sheet and refrigerate for about 30 minutes to firm up.

Coating and Decorating

  • Melt the white chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl, stirring in intervals to avoid burning.
  • Dip each chilled truffle into the melted white chocolate, ensuring they are fully covered.
  • While the chocolate coating is still wet, decorate with mini chocolate chips for eyes and a piece of orange candy for the nose.
  • Add a festive scarf made from fruit leather or a piece of ribbon.
  • Allow the decorated truffles to set on the baking sheet for about 10-15 minutes.

Notes

These truffles can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week or frozen for up to three months.
