  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened Make sure it's at room temperature for easier mixing.
  • 12 oz White chocolate or candy melts for coating Use any preferred chocolate for coating.

Preparation

  • Crush the Oreos using a food processor into fine crumbs.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the crushed Oreos with softened cream cheese, blending thoroughly until fully combined.
  • Roll the mixture into egg-shaped balls and arrange them on a baking sheet.
  • Place the balls in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes to firm them up.

Coating

  • In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the white chocolate or candy melts.
  • If desired, divide the melted chocolate into separate bowls and stir in food coloring for a festive touch.
  • Dip each Oreo ball into the chocolate, ensuring they are fully coated before returning them to the baking sheet.
  • Add sprinkles on top for decoration before they set in the refrigerator.

Setting and Serving

  • Allow the chocolate to firm up completely before enjoying.

Notes

Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week. They can be made ahead of time for events. Avoid leaving out at room temperature too long.
