Main Ingredients

  • 12 oz stuffed pasta (tortellini or ravioli) You can use any stuffed pasta of your choice.
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese Divided into two portions.
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh basil for garnish Optional but recommended!

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Cook the stuffed pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the ricotta cheese, half of the mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  • Gently fold in the cooked pasta until everything is well-coated.

Assembly

  • Spread half of the marinara sauce on the bottom of a baking dish.
  • Pour the pasta mixture on top and spread it evenly.
  • Top with the remaining marinara sauce and sprinkle with the rest of the mozzarella cheese.

Baking

  • Cover the dish with foil and bake for 20 minutes.
  • Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  • Garnish with fresh basil before serving.

Notes

Pair this dish with a fresh side salad, garlic bread, or roasted vegetables for a balanced meal. Consider topping with a sprinkle of chopped parsley or pomegranate seeds for added color.
