Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 1 box box of cake mix (vanilla or white)
  • 2 large large eggs
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil Can substitute with melted butter or coconut oil.
  • 1 cup crushed cookies (Oreos work beautifully)
  • 1/2 cup red, white, and blue candies (like M&M's) Feel free to substitute with other candies if desired.
  • 1/4 cup sprinkles (red, white, and blue)

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large bowl, combine the cake mix, eggs, and vegetable oil until well blended.
  • Gently fold in the crushed cookies, red, white, and blue candies, and any sprinkles you choose to add.
  • Scoop tablespoons of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, leaving space for spreading.

Baking

  • Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden brown.
  • Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

Serve cookies warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for 3-5 days. For longer storage, freeze in a freezer-safe container. Chill dough for thicker cookies and avoid overmixing to maintain soft texture.
