  • 2 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 8 oz bowtie pasta
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter Use fresh butter for best results.
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced Use fresh garlic for a stronger flavor.
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning Consider marinating the chicken for extra flavor.
  • Salt and pepper to taste Always taste as you go!
  • Parmesan cheese, for serving Grated, to add flavor.
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (optional) For garnish.

Preparation

  • Cook the bowtie pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Once done, drain and set aside.
  • In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
  • Add the minced garlic and Italian seasoning. Stir and cook for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  • Season both sides of the chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then add them to the skillet.
  • Cook the chicken for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until they are fully cooked and no longer pink in the center.
  • Remove the chicken from the skillet and slice it.
  • Add the drained pasta to the skillet with the garlic butter. Toss to ensure the pasta is well coated.
  • Serve the pasta topped with sliced chicken, grated Parmesan cheese, and chopped parsley if desired.

Notes

Leftovers can be stored safely in the refrigerator for 3-4 days in an airtight container. Can be frozen for up to 2 months. Reheat by warming on the stove over low heat with a splash of water or in a microwave in 30-second increments.
