Ingredients

For the Cheeseburger Filling:

  • 1 lb ground beef – Adds a hearty juicy texture. Use 80/20 beef for the best flavor.
  • 1 tsp garlic powder – Enhances the savory garlicky goodness.
  • ½ tsp onion powder – Adds a subtle depth of flavor.
  • ½ tsp salt – Brings out the natural flavors of the beef.
  • ¼ tsp black pepper – For a mild kick of spice.
  • ½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese – Melts beautifully for that gooey cheesy center.
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese – Adds a sharp nutty contrast to the mozzarella.
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce – Infuses a rich umami flavor into the beef.

For the Dough & Topping:

  • 1 can refrigerated biscuit dough or crescent roll dough – Creates a flaky, golden crust.
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter melted – Gives the bombs that irresistible, buttery finish.
  • 1 tsp minced garlic – Mixes with the butter for a garlic-infused topping.
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley – Adds a pop of freshness.
  • 1 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese – Sprinkled on top for extra cheesiness.
  • 1 egg beaten (optional) – Helps create a glossy, golden crust.

For Dipping (Optional but Recommended!):

  • Marinara sauce – A tangy classic pairing.
  • Ranch dressing – Creamy and flavorful.
  • Spicy mayo – For a little heat!

Instructions

1: Preheat & Prepare

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
  • Combine the melted butter, finely minced garlic, and fresh parsley in a small bowl.

2: Cook the Cheeseburger Filling

  • Heat a skillet over medium heat and add the ground beef. Break the meat apart with a spatula as it cooks until evenly browned.
  • Drain any excess grease, then stir in the garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and Worcestershire sauce. Cook for another 1-2 minutes to blend the flavors.
  • Remove from heat and mix in the shredded mozzarella and Parmesan cheese until melted and well combined. Let it cool slightly.

3: Assemble the Bombs

  • Flatten each biscuit dough round into a 3-4 inch circle. If using crescent dough, pinch the seams together and cut into equal squares.
  • Spoon about 1 tablespoon of the cheeseburger mixture into the center of each dough piece.
  • Gently fold the edges over the filling, pinching them together to seal completely. Roll into a smooth ball and place seam-side down on the baking sheet.

4: Add the Buttery Garlic Topping

  • Generously coat each dough ball with the prepared garlic butter mixture.
  • Sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese for an extra cheesy, golden crust.
  • For a shinier finish, brush with beaten egg before baking.

5: Bake to Perfection

  • Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the tops are golden brown and crispy.
  • Take them out of the oven and allow them to rest for a few minutes before serving.
