  • 1 cup heavy cream Can be substituted with half-and-half for a lighter option.
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese Freshly grated is recommended for better flavor.
  • Salt and pepper to taste Season according to preference.
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish) Adds freshness to the dish.

Preparation

  • Cook the pasta according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  • In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  • Pour in the heavy cream and bring it to a gentle simmer.
  • Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until it melts and creates a smooth sauce. Don’t forget to season with salt and pepper to taste!
  • Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss it all together to fully coat the pasta in the delicious sauce.
  • Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

Perfect on its own, but pairs well with a vibrant salad or toasted garlic bread. Add grilled chicken or shrimp for extra protein. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days. For reheating, add a splash of cream or pasta water to maintain creaminess.
