  • 8 ounces Fresh mozzarella cheese Can substitute with burrata or dairy-free options.
  • 1 pint Cherry tomatoes Consider using heirloom tomatoes for enhanced flavor.
  • 1/4 cup Balsamic glaze
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil For brushing the steak.
  • 1 teaspoon Salt To taste.
  • 1 teaspoon Pepper To taste.
  • 1 cup Fresh basil For garnish.

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat your grill on medium-high heat.
  • Brush the steak with olive oil, then season generously with salt and pepper.

Grilling

  • Place the steak on the grill, cooking until it reaches your desired doneness (about 4-6 minutes per side for medium-rare).
  • For the last few minutes, add cherry tomatoes to the grill until they are slightly charred.

Serving

  • Once the steak is cooked, let it rest on a cutting board for about 5 minutes before slicing it against the grain.
  • On a serving platter, layer the sliced steak with fresh mozzarella, roasted cherry tomatoes, and garnish with fresh basil leaves.
  • Drizzle balsamic glaze over the top just before serving.

Notes

Leftovers can be stored separately in airtight containers in the refrigerator. The grilled steak will last for about 3-4 days. For best quality, enjoy tomatoes and mozzarella within a week.
