  • 1 cup diced ham Leftover holiday ham can be used for a budget-friendly option.
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese Use freshly grated cheese for maximum creaminess.
  • 1 cup milk Can be substituted with a plant-based milk for a dairy-free version.
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Preparation

  • Turn the Instant Pot to sauté mode and melt the butter.
  • Add the diced ham and sauté for a few minutes until it starts to brown.
  • Pour in the pasta, chicken broth, milk, garlic powder, and season with salt and pepper.
  • Close the lid, set it to sealing, and cook on high pressure for 5 minutes.
  • Once the cooking is complete, quickly release the pressure.
  • Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese until it is melted and creamy.
  • Serve warm and enjoy the cheesy goodness!

Notes

For an added touch, sprinkle fresh herbs on top before serving and pair with a simple salad or crusty bread. Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days or frozen for up to 3 months.
