Ingredients
  

Pasta and Meat

  • 8 oz fettuccine pasta Feel free to swap out for preferred pasta shape.
  • 1 lb lean ground beef You can use ground turkey as a lean alternative.

Creamy Sauce

  • 1 cup heavy cream Can substitute with a lighter alternative.
  • 1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese Add more for extra richness.
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced Enhances the flavor profile.
  • 2 cups fresh spinach Adds nutrition and color.
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning Can be replaced with herbes de Provence.
  • to taste Salt and pepper Adjust according to preference.

Instructions
 

Cooking the Pasta

  • In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook the fettuccine until al dente, about 8-10 minutes. Drain and reserve 1 cup of the pasta water.

Cooking the Beef

  • In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef, seasoning it generously with salt and pepper.
  • Push the beef to one side of the skillet and add the minced garlic to the other side. Sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.

Making the Sauce

  • Pour in the heavy cream and slowly stir in the grated Parmesan cheese, mixing until you achieve a smooth, creamy consistency.
  • Toss in the fresh spinach, allowing it to wilt into the sauce, adding both flavor and nutrition.

Combining Everything

  • Finally, mix the cooked fettuccine with the beef mixture. Use the reserved pasta water as needed to achieve your desired sauce consistency. Serve hot.

Notes

Best enjoyed with additional Parmesan and a dash of Italian seasoning. Pair with a salad or garlic bread. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days and reheat gently on the stovetop.
