Ingredients
  

Chicken and Seasoning

  • 4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper

Sauce Ingredients

  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • cup honey
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar (or rice vinegar)
  • ½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional) for heat

Garnish

  • to taste Fresh parsley or green onions, chopped for garnish

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Pat chicken dry, then sprinkle both sides with salt and pepper.
  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.

Cooking

  • Cook chicken 5–6 minutes per side until golden and fully cooked (165°F internal temp). Transfer to a plate.
  • In the same skillet, melt butter and add garlic. Sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
  • Stir in honey, soy sauce, and vinegar. Simmer for 2–3 minutes until sauce thickens slightly.
  • Return chicken to skillet, spoon sauce over the top, and simmer for 2 more minutes.
  • Garnish with parsley or green onions and serve hot with rice, noodles, or veggies.

Notes

Refrigerate leftovers in an airtight container up to 3 days. Reheat gently to avoid drying out. For crispy edges, let sauce bubble for an extra minute before coating chicken. Pair with steamed broccoli and jasmine rice for a restaurant-style meal.
