  • 8 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled Pre-cook for crispiness.
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened Ensure fully softened for smooth mixing.
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • ½ cup sour cream

Cheeses and Flavorings

  • 1 ½ cups shredded smoked Gouda cheese Can substitute with regular Gouda.
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese Consider swapping with pepper jack for spice.
  • 2 green onions finely sliced Reserve some for garnish.
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp smoked paprika
  • ¼ tsp black pepper

For Serving

  • crackers, baguette slices, or fresh vegetables

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, mayonnaise, and sour cream. Blend until smooth and creamy.
  • Stir in smoked Gouda, cheddar cheese, garlic powder, smoked paprika, black pepper, and sliced green onions. Reserve some crumbled bacon for topping.
  • Pour the cheesy mixture into an oven-safe dish and spread evenly.

Baking

  • Sprinkle the remaining crumbled bacon on top of the dip.
  • Bake for 15-20 minutes until bubbly and lightly golden.

Serving

  • Allow to cool slightly, garnish with additional green onions or crumbled bacon, and serve hot with crackers, baguette slices, or fresh veggies.

Notes

This dip can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven or microwave before serving. Experiment with additional spices or a hint of hot sauce for an extra kick.
