Ingredients
  

For the Appetizers

  • 1 lb Fresh mozzarella cheese Burrata can be used for a creamier texture.
  • 1 cup Cherry tomatoes
  • 1 cup Fresh basil leaves
  • 2 tablespoons Balsamic glaze
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • 8 oz Assorted Italian cured meats (prosciutto, salami)
  • 1 box Breadsticks or toasted baguette slices
  • 1 cup Artichoke hearts and roasted peppers Optional for added flavor.

Preparation

  • Slice the mozzarella and cherry tomatoes in half. Rinse and dry the basil leaves.

Assembly

  • On toothpicks, layer a mozzarella ball, a basil leaf, and a cherry tomato. Drizzle with olive oil and balsamic glaze, then sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  • On a large serving platter, artfully arrange slices of prosciutto and salami. Add breadsticks and toasted baguette slices for dipping.
  • Include artichoke hearts and roasted peppers to provide more variety on your platter.

Serving

  • Serve immediately to enjoy these appetizers fresh and maximize their flavors!

Notes

For best results, use high-quality ingredients, soak wooden skewers in water before assembling to prevent burning, and consider making a double batch as these appetizers are very popular.
