Grilling

  • Grill the patties on medium-high heat for about 4-5 minutes per side for a medium doneness.
  • In the final minute of cooking, place a slice of cheddar cheese atop each patty and close the grill lid to melt.

Toasting Buns and Assembly

  • Toast the burger buns on the grill until lightly golden.
  • Assemble your burgers by placing the patty on the bottom bun, layering with bacon, drizzling with maple-whiskey BBQ sauce, and adding any extras like lettuce and tomato.
  • Serve immediately, and enjoy the flavor explosion!

Notes

For best storage, keep cooked patties and any leftover sauce in airtight containers in the refrigerator for up to three days. Reheat patties in a skillet over low heat.
