Preparation

  • In a mixing bowl, combine the pancake mix, milk, and egg. Stir until the mixture is smooth.
  • Gently fold in the crumbled sausage and maple syrup.
  • If desired, add shredded cheese to the batter.

Cooking

  • Preheat a non-stick skillet over medium heat.

  • Cook until bubbles form on the surface, then flip and cook until the bites are golden brown.
