Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients

  • 2 pounds ground beef Can substitute with turkey or a meat blend.
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 eggs
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs Use gluten-free if preferred.
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Glaze Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large bowl, mix together the ground beef, chopped onion, minced garlic, eggs, milk, breadcrumbs, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  • Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it in a greased loaf pan or set it on a parchment-lined baking sheet.

Making the Glaze

  • For the glaze, combine the brown sugar, ketchup, Dijon mustard, and Worcestershire sauce in a small saucepan over medium heat, stirring until smooth.
  • Spoon half of the glaze over the meatloaf.

Cooking

  • Bake the meatloaf in the preheated oven for 40 minutes.
  • After 40 minutes, add the remaining glaze on top and bake for an additional 15–20 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).
  • Allow the meatloaf to rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

Pairs well with mashed potatoes, steamed broccoli, or a fresh garden salad. Drizzle extra glaze before serving for added flavor.
