Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 4 pieces boneless salmon fillets
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • ½ teaspoon dried parsley (or 2 teaspoons fresh parsley, chopped)
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon pepper
  • a pinch paprika
  • 1 lemon, sliced into half-moons

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 200°C/400°F (fan mode).
  • Line a baking tray with foil or a silicone baking mat for easy cleanup.
  • Place your salmon fillets on the prepared tray, skin side down.
  • In a small bowl, combine the melted butter, minced garlic, honey, dried parsley, salt, pepper, and paprika. Mix well.
  • Pour this luscious mixture evenly over the salmon fillets.
  • Arrange lemon slices on and around the salmon to infuse flavor.

Cooking

  • Bake the salmon for 8 minutes.
  • Carefully open your oven and baste the salmon with the sauce from the tray.
  • Bake for an additional 4 to 7 minutes, or until the salmon is tender and cooked through.
  • You’ll know it’s done when it flakes easily with a fork and appears opaque.

Notes

This salmon dish pairs well with roasted potatoes or a light salad for a balanced meal. To keep your leftover salmon fresh, store it in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. You can reheat it in the oven at a low temperature to prevent it from drying out.
