Ingredients
  

For the trifle

  • 1 cup Strawberries, sliced Fresh strawberries
  • 1 cup Blueberries Fresh blueberries
  • 8 oz Cream cheese Make sure it's at room temperature for easy blending
  • 1/2 cup Sugar Optional, adjust to taste
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract Optional, adjust to taste
  • 12 pieces Ladyfingers or pieces of cake Can be swapped with favorite cake
  • 1 cup Whipped cream Optional, for topping

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Wash and slice the strawberries.
  • In a bowl, blend the cream cheese with sugar and vanilla extract until nice and smooth.
  • Layer ladyfingers or cake pieces at the bottom of your serving glasses or jars.
  • Add a layer of the cream cheese filling over the cake.
  • Next, sprinkle in a layer of your mixed berries.
  • Repeat these layers until the glasses are brimming.
  • Top with a dollop of whipped cream and a few extra berries, if desired.
  • For the best flavor experience, refrigerate the trifles for a few hours before serving.

Notes

Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 2 days, covered to maintain freshness. Best enjoyed fresh.
