Ingredients
  

Dry Ingredients

  • 1 cup protein powder Any preferred type of protein powder
  • 1 cup oats Rolled or quick oats work well

Wet Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup almond butter Can substitute with peanut butter or sunbutter
  • 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup Maple syrup can be substituted with agave nectar
  • 1/2 cup vanilla extract

Mix-ins

  • 1/4 cup chocolate chips or sprinkles Optional, can be left out based on preference

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a medium bowl, combine the protein powder and oats.
  • Add almond butter, honey (or maple syrup), and vanilla extract. Stir until everything is well mixed.
  • Fold in chocolate chips or sprinkles at this stage if desired.
  • With clean hands, roll the mixture into bite-sized balls about the size of a tablespoon.
  • Place the balls on a plate and refrigerate for about 30 minutes to help them set.
  • Enjoy your no-bake protein bites as a convenient and healthy snack!

Notes

Store the protein bites in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week. They can also be frozen for up to three months; thaw in the refrigerator overnight before enjoying.
