  • 3 pieces ripe mangoes, peeled and sliced
  • 2 cups all-purpose cream, chilled Make sure it's thoroughly chilled for best whipping results.
  • 1 can (14 ounces) sweetened condensed milk, chilled Adjust the amount for desired sweetness.
  • 1 pack (7 ounces) graham crackers Can dip in milk for softer texture.
  • 1/4 cup milk (optional) For softening the graham crackers.

Preparation

  • Whip the chilled all-purpose cream in a large bowl until light and fluffy.
  • Gradually add the sweetened condensed milk while beating until the mixture thickens slightly and is well combined.
  • Line the bottom of a rectangular dish with a layer of graham crackers. Optionally, dip the crackers in milk for a softer texture.
  • Spread a layer of the cream mixture over the graham crackers.
  • Arrange a layer of sliced mangoes over the cream.
  • Repeat the process with graham crackers, cream, and mangoes until all ingredients are used, ending with a final layer of cream and topping off with more mango slices.
  • Cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.
  • Once set, slice, serve chilled, and enjoy.

Notes

For a stunning presentation, serve in individual cups and garnish with mint leaves or crushed graham crackers. Best when fresh but can be stored for up to a week.
