  • 1 package Vanilla Oreos You can substitute other Oreo flavors if desired.
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened Ensure cream cheese is softened for mixing.
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips Melted for coating.
  • to taste red, white, and blue sprinkles For decoration.

Preparation

  • Crush the Vanilla Oreos into fine crumbs using a food processor or a zip-top bag with a rolling pin.
  • In a large bowl, mix the Oreo crumbs with softened cream cheese until well combined.
  • Form the mixture into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter, and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Chill the truffles in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes until firm.

Coating

  • Melt the white chocolate chips in either a microwave or a double boiler until smooth.
  • Dip each truffle into the melted white chocolate, ensuring each piece is thoroughly coated.
  • Return the dipped truffles to the baking sheet and sprinkle with red, white, and blue sprinkles.
  • Allow the chocolate to set before serving.

Notes

Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week, or freeze for longer storage, layering with parchment paper to prevent sticking.
