  • 1 tsp sugar feeds the yeast for a better rise
  • ½ tsp salt enhances flavor

the Pizza Sauce:

  • 1 cup marinara sauce store-bought or homemade
  • 1 tsp olive oil for a smooth, rich taste
  • ½ tsp garlic powder adds depth of flavor
  • ½ tsp dried oregano classic pizzeria taste
  • ¼ tsp red pepper flakes optional, for a hint of heat

the Toppings:

  • 1 ½ cups mozzarella cheese shredded (for that irresistible melt)
  • ¼ cup Parmesan cheese grated (adds a nutty, salty kick)
  • ½ cup pepperoni slices or your favorite toppings
  • ¼ cup bell peppers sliced (for crunch and color)
  • ¼ cup mushrooms thinly sliced (adds umami flavor)

Instructions

Prepare the Dough

  • In a small bowl, dissolve sugar in warm water, then sprinkle yeast over the top. Let it rest for about 5–10 minutes until it turns frothy. This step ensures your dough rises properly.
  • In a separate large bowl, mix flour and salt. Gradually pour in the yeast mixture and olive oil, stirring until a rough dough begins to form.
  • Transfer the dough to a lightly floured surface and knead for about 5–7 minutes until it’s smooth and elastic.
  • Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a kitchen towel, and let it rise for 60 minutes in a warm spot until it doubles in size.

Preheat the Oven & Prepare the Pizza Base

  • Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C). If using a pizza stone, place it in the oven while it heats for a crispier crust.
  • Punch down the risen dough and roll it out on a lightly floured surface into a 12-inch circle or your preferred shape.
  • Roll out the dough to your desired thickness, then place it on a greased or parchment-lined pizza pan or baking sheet, shaping it to fit.

Assemble the Party Pizza

  • Spread an even layer of marinara sauce over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges.
  • Sprinkle mozzarella cheese generously over the sauce, followed by Parmesan cheese for extra richness.
  • Add your favorite toppings like pepperoni slices, bell peppers, mushrooms, and olives, arranging them evenly for the perfect bite in every slice.

Bake to Perfection

  • Place the pizza in the preheated oven and bake for 12–15 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is bubbly and slightly browned.
  • If using a pizza stone, carefully slide the pizza onto the stone and bake for a crispier, more authentic texture.

Finishing Touches & Serving

  • Remove the pizza from the oven and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing—this helps the cheese set.
  • Garnish with fresh basil leaves, a drizzle of olive oil, and a sprinkle of red pepper flakes for an extra flavor boost.
  • Slice, serve, and watch your guests enjoy every bite!
