Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients

  • 8 oz Pasta of your choice (spaghetti, penne, or fusilli)
  • 2 pieces Chicken breasts
  • 1 cup Pesto sauce (store-bought or homemade)
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil For drizzling if needed
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • 1/2 cup Grated Parmesan cheese Optional but recommended
  • 1 cup Cherry tomatoes, halved Optional for garnishing

Cooking the Pasta

  • Start by cooking your pasta according to the package instructions until it’s al dente.

Grilling the Chicken

  • While the pasta cooks, season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
  • Grill them over medium heat until cooked through, approximately 6-7 minutes per side.

Combining the Ingredients

  • In a large bowl, combine the drained, cooked pasta and sliced grilled chicken.
  • Pour in your pesto sauce and toss everything together until well-coated.
  • If you find it a bit dry, drizzle a splash of olive oil for moisture.

Serving

  • Serve adorned with grated Parmesan cheese and halved cherry tomatoes for a burst of color and flavor.

Notes

Allow grilled chicken to rest before slicing for better flavor. Can store leftovers in an airtight container for up to three days or freeze portions for up to a month. Reheat by adding a splash of olive oil or water to loosen the sauce.
