Ingredients
  

For the filling

  • 1 lb ground hamburger Can substitute with ground turkey.
  • 1 packet taco seasoning Choose your favorite brand.
  • 1 can diced tomatoes (drained)
  • 1 can diced green chiles (drained)
  • 1 cup shredded cheese Your favorite type.

For the tacos

  • 1 package puff pastry

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven according to puff pastry package instructions.
  • In a skillet over medium heat, brown the hamburger until fully cooked. Drain any excess fat.
  • Stir in the taco seasoning along with the drained diced tomatoes and green chiles. Mix thoroughly.
  • Roll out the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface and cut it into squares.
  • Place a spoonful of the hamburger mixture in the center of each square and top with the shredded cheese.
  • Fold the pastry over the filling and press down to seal each taco.
  • Bake in the preheated oven until golden brown, about 10-15 minutes.
  • Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

Best served warm with fresh toppings like guacamole, sour cream, or salsa. Can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days, or frozen for longer storage.
